Position Summary: As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you will be the face of TC Running Company, providing outstanding customer service and expert guidance to our diverse clientele. You'll help customers find the perfect gear, share your passion for running, and contribute to a positive and energetic store atmosphere.

Availability: Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum of 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs.
• Provide expert fitting services for running/walking shoes, including gait analysis (training provided).
• Educate customers on product features, benefits, and proper usage of running shoes, apparel, and accessories.
• Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising products.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest running trends, products, and industry knowledge.
• Participate in store events, group runs, and community outreach as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in sporting goods or specialty retail.
• A genuine passion for running, walking, or general fitness.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.
